Idiopathic Hypersomnia Awareness Week (IHAW) is an annual initiative hosted by Hypersomnolence Australia. It is held every year in the first full week of September to promote and raise awareness of the sleep/wake disorder Idiopathic Hypersomnia. IHAW unites the efforts of partner organisations worldwide.

We encourage public and private sector organisations to partner with us to promote awareness of Idiopathic Hypersomnia during IHAW.

By registering, your organisation joins a global partnership committed to educating the public about Idiopathic Hypersomnia.

IHAW partners agree to:

Share the free IHAW campaign materials via your website and social media.

Include the IHAW logo when promoting your activities.

Share the IHAW “Proud Partner” banner. This image will include the logos of all of our partners.

We also encourage our partners to either organise an event or provide resources that can be used during IHAW eg: write an article appropriate to the theme of the current IHAW.
